Your archive, on your wrist

The new Apple Watch section curates albums from your archive: family favorites, growing-up timelines, occasions, pets, and scenic picks. Get them as an auto-updating synced album through Apple Photos, or as a watch face file family members add with one tap (beta).

The Places map works fully offline

The map now ships with a built-in world basemap: no internet, no accounts, no API keys. Optional online detail is there for zooming into neighborhoods, and one switch turns all map traffic off.

Better from the very first study

• New archives browse correctly. Photo grids no longer stay empty on recently created archives.
• Photos appear as they are studied. Year views fill in live, and photos still waiting on thumbnails show a preparing tile.
• Study details, one click away. The header’s stage indicator now reopens the detailed progress panel.
• Smarter folder recognition. Picking All Our Years’ own study-data folder, even from an unfinished setup, is now recognized and explained, with a shortcut to your real photo folder.
• Clearer start-over wording. The reset button names what it deletes: the app’s own study data. Your photos and videos are never touched.
