All Our Years is a Mac app that reads a family's photo archive in place, exactly where it already sits, and sorts decades of unlabeled photos into named events and a timeline for each person. It runs on-device, and none of your photos, names or faces are uploaded.
Most families have a hard drive like this: a folder of named events from the years before phones took over, followed by a decade of large, unlabeled phone-backup dumps. All Our Years opens that drive read-only and reads it on-device, using Apple silicon's Neural Engine to group photos into events, follow people across the years, and learn the family's own naming style so it can name the later decade too. There is no cloud and no account, and the app is a one-time purchase; Family Circle sharing is an optional $49/year add-on. It is built and maintained by an independent developer and is available now.
