What's new in All Our Years

Saving or sharing a locked photo now offers the unlock right there — including on the Places map and shared guest pages.

Settings > License now shows the key that unlocked this Mac, with a one-click copy — handy for setting up a second Mac.

All Our Years now notices when your archive drive changes: new photos and backup folders get studied on their own, renamed folders keep everything they've learned, and missing photos are kept from memory instead of lost. Settings > Archive shows a new "check for changes" status and a Missing Photos review window.

Overview and Places now get themselves ready in the background while you're away, so switching to either feels instant instead of a few seconds of waiting. Plus a couple of leftover caption-control cleanups and installer polish.

Meet the Family Web: your people and pets drawn as one living web, connected by the photos they share — scrub through the years to watch it grow. The welcome screen now finds archives already studied on this Mac, shows what each holds, and cleans up old ones safely. Plus nicer free browsing and an end to stray beeps.
